ABOUT US
Rochelle ISD is a small six-man school deep in the Heart of Texas. We are located 8 miles east of Brady, Texas. The original school was built in 1908; our school mascot is the Hornet. The original two-story build has been updated and renovated but looks the same on the outside. But don't let this fool you - the school is a modern and innovative educational setting. We are a 1-to-1 technology campus in all grades PreK-12th. Our sophomores, juniors, and seniors are able to take dual credit courses in English, Science, social studies, math, and in many more subjects. Students can also receive certifications via welding and EMT classes.
We continue to exceed a majority of benchmarks set forth by the state of Texas on many fronts. Our academic program continues to be focused on making data-driven decisions that empower our teachers to engage in learning about the newest instructional practices, up-and-coming instructional technology devices and software, and seeking profound professional development opportunities. We offer a plethora of extracurricular programs (Ag-Science, FFA, UIL Academics, Athletics, etc.) that are led by the area's most successful coaches and sponsors. We are proud of the efforts of our students and teachers and remain dedicated to ensuring that all members of the Hornet community achieve success.
