NHS & NJHS- Monday, January 22nd is the last day to RSVP or purchase extra tickets for Wednesday's banquet. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Thank you!

Our varsity basketball teams traveled to Cherokee this evening and played two very competitive games. The Lady Hornets played a close game the entire game and fell a bit short (25-23). The Varsity Hornets also played a solid game but fell a bit short as well (49-42).

Our Junior High Basketball teams traveled to Lohn this evening to take on the Eagles. The girls team fell a bit short and the boys team left with a big win. We are proud of the efforts of all of our Hornets and their coaches!

Current and incoming NHS and NJHS members please remember to RSVP for the banquet meal. You each will receive a ticket for yourself and 2 guest. (3 tickets total) you may purchase additional meal tickets from the office for $12 each. The Banquet will be Wednesday, January 24th in the Rochelle Cafeteria at 6:00PM.

We will see everyone at 10AM today, Tuesday, for the start of first period. Of course it is still very cold outside, so please dress warmly.

Rochelle ISD will have a late start on Tuesday, January 16. School will begin at 10AM; all students are to report to their first period class. Buses will run their routes two hours later than normal. We will not be serving breakfast tomorrow due to the late start. District administrators will continue to monitor the weather and conditions.

Keep calm and winter on! ❄️☃️

With Rochelle under a National Weather Service winter weather advisory and a freeze warning, the Rochelle ISD administration has cancelled classes for Monday, January 15. This includes all before and after school activities. The extremely low temperatures and wind chills along with localized hazardous conditions on roads present concerns that we want to proactively respond to. We will continue to monitor the weather and conditions and respond as necessary to those conditions to ensure that all members of the Rochelle ISD community are kept safe.

Hey Rochelle family, just a heads up: drop-off tomorrow morning is in front of the school. Students head straight to first period; no breakfast will be served. Stay safe, and we'll keep you posted on any updates.

Out of abundance of caution, Rochelle ISD will delay opening tomorrow, Monday January 15th. Classes will begin at 10AM with buses running two hours later than normal. This will provide us with more time to evaluate conditions early in the morning and make further adjustments if necessary based on overnight weather conditions.

Garrett clinched victory in his age group, securing first place, a shiny buckle, a cash prize, and earning his spot in the 2024 world finals! 🏆🤠

Girls come up short tonight against Lometa 36-18. Next district game will be a home game against Lohn on Tuesday (1/16).
