Don’t forget that Ms. Adams in Kindergarten and Ms. Rolf in PreKindergarten will be in their rooms all day Friday (except during lunch) to meet and greet our Kindergarten and PreK students and their parents. Don’t forget that you are welcome to drop off school supplies tomorrow (Thursday) as well as Friday at the front office (please be sure to leave those supplies labeled) and we will get them to the right teacher.
I am SO excited to start our 2020-2021 school year! If you have any counseling needs, scheduling questions (6-12 grades), college information, please feel free to contact me!
We have had several requests to share the dress code for the upcoming school year. The dress code did get modified this summer - this year, male students must come to school clean shaven and hair cannot extend below the collar. The Student Handbook can be found at this link and we encourage all community members to reference this as needed: https://5il.co/giqv
Rochelle ISD has worked to refine our plan for the Fall 2020 - here's a quick link: https://5il.co/io7b. Plans for a Virtual Meet the Teacher will be posted soon. Our plan is to still host a Meet the Teacher on Thursday starting at 6PM, but we have decided to do so virtually. More details will be posted by tomorrow evening as we get details fine-tuned. Thanks to everyone that has come out to register their students. #ChooseRochelle
Registration at #ChooseRochelle continues this evening from 5pm to 7pm in the Rochelle ISD Cafeteria. All families must bring a water bill, electricity bill, or other similar document to determine residency. Students and families new to the district will need to bring their student’s social security card, the student’s birth certificate, immunization records, and a parent ID. We will be practicing social distancing in our cafeteria and have worked to make the registration process as simple and quick as possible. We will have someone at the cafeteria door to help direct traffic; we hope that our streamlined processes minimize wait times in the event we reach capacity in the cafeteria.
Rochelle ISD has submitted our plan for this fall to TEA for approval - here's a link to that plan: https://5il.co/il7u. Please know that this plan is subject to change depending on approval from TEA.

Schedules will also be able to be picked up at registration.
Our personally designed four-day school week model will be implemented starting this fall; our first day of school is set for August 3rd.
